Pro cycling fans got the opportunity to meet the professional bicyclists participating in the Amgen Tour of California today.
The tour held a meet and greet event at The Siren in Morro Bay for its Stage 4 finish line party.
Attendees got a chance to meet various pro-cyclists including legendary athlete and TV commentator Bob “Bobke” Roll.
Cyclists of all levels were welcomed at the celebratory cycle pep rally with a variety of participating options. The event included three participation options: kid-friendly, recreational rider and seasoned cyclist.
Participants also received a collective event t-shirt and free bike valet. Proceeds for the event went to the local non-profit partner Bike SLO County.
The annual race started in Sacramento on Sunday and cyclists arrived on the Central Coast on Wednesday. Stage 4 of the race is expected to end around 3:43 p.m. today in Morro Bay.
The route went from Laguna Seca in Monterey County down to Harbor Street in Morro Bay.
