Weapons discovered during warrant arrest in Grover Beach, police say

Grover Beach police arrested a man Thursday night for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant and say they found him to be in possession of an unregistered pistol.

Police say they were called to the 300 block of Grand Ave. for an intoxicated person causing a disturbance.

Nicholas Martin, 38, of Tomales was taken into custody for the warrant.

In addition to the gun, police say they found several knives in his backpack.

They’re now trying to figure out who owns the pistol.
