If weather permits, CAL FIRE SLO is planning to conduct a training burn at Camp Roberts this Wednesday through Friday.
Firefighters will be burning around 300 acres over three days.
Approximately 45 firefighters will be participating in the training course.
CAL FIRE says the firefighters will gain in-depth knowledge of ignition tools, equipment, techniques and strategies, as well as how weather, fuels and topography affect fire behavior.
Smoke may be visible in the area during the burn.
