Police say thousands of dollars’ worth of designer eyewear was taken during an early-morning break-in in Santa Barbara.
It reportedly happened at about 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at Montecito Optometry on Coast Village Road.
Santa Barbara police someone reported at least two people banging on the door at the business and called police but by the time officers arrived, the burglars were gone and the merchandise missing.
Police are canvassing the area looking for surveillance cameras to aid in the investigation.
