Graduation season is here and seniors at Lompoc High are ready to begin the first day of the rest of their lives.
The stands were packed as over 300 high school senior earned their diplomas today at Huyck Field in Lompoc.
“It’s so exciting because we’re on the cusp of real life now and it’s not just high school,” said graduating senior Elizabeth Twomey.
Among the many accomplished graduates, Alexander Murkison said he plans to get a degree in political science and social behavioral sciences.
“[It]’s going to be truly amazing and I can’t wait to see all the things that this class will do,” said Twomey.
