The City of SLO wants to teach you how to use a roundabout

As new development projects pop up around San Luis Obispo, you’re going to see more roundabouts, and the city has just launched a campaign to teach people how to use them correctly.

The city says roundabouts help traffic flow more efficiently, with fewer delays and greenhouse gas emissions compared to a traffic signal or all-way stop.

There are currently two roundabouts in San Luis Obispo – at Prado Rd. and Serra Meadows Rd. and on Tank Farm Rd. at a new development between Broad St. and Orcutt Rd.

Watch the videos below or click here to learn more about the proper use of roundabouts.
