Caltrans is still rebuilding the Montecito Creek Bridge on State Route 192, but it said the bridge should re-open in September.
The bridge was damaged more than a year ago in the Montecito Debris Flow of January 2018.

Caltrans said most the bridge construction has already been completed and road and creek restoration work is ongoing.
There are still several detours available in areas around the bridge.

Caltrans is also continuing its utility and bridgework on the Toro Creek Bridge. The bridge is currently opened to one-way reversing traffic until the project is complete. All lanes of the bridged are scheduled to re-open by mid-September.
Caltrans said the San Ysidro Creek Bridge is expected to be completed in August.
