Half a dozen children found their forever families during an adoption awareness event in Santa Maria.
Four girls and two boys ages 1 to 15 were adopted Wednesday at Santa Barbara County Juvenile Court.
Four families made the decision to take the children into their homes.
The new parents said the adoptions were life changing, and a great start to filling the family with new adventures.
"Finding the right sibling set that match us and it was perfect for us and first time we saw them it was pretty much over after that," says adopter Claudio Gonzalez.
November is national adoption awareness month.
