Allan Hancock College hosted its third drive-thru flu shot clinic on Oct. 15.
County officials were ready to give out about 600 shots, and they gave out 425 shots in Santa Barbara on Tuesday.
Volunteers from the college staff, nursing students, as well as members of the medical reserve corp of Santa Barbara County helped at the clinic.
"We want to make sure that everyone can be protected from the flu so they don't have flu and COVID potentially at the same time and we protect the largest amount of the population we can," Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program Manager of Santa Barbara County Public Health Jan Koegler.
