Ampelos Cellars in Lompoc opened last Friday for a successful first weekend.
The winery has had steady business during their closure primarily due to online sales.
Wine Tender Dani Reeves said he understands the necessary precautions the winery is taking to keep people safe and is happy to reopen.
"I don't know what to think about any of this stuff because just too much is going on at one time," Reeves said. "But at the same time, it is what it is and we all have to do what we have to do to protect each other. I'm just glad to be back. I'm glad to get back to normal because we're social beings."
The tasting room now has spread out seating to maintain social distancing and only groups that enter the cellars together are invited to sit at tables.
Face coverings are also required for customers to enter the tasting room.
