An arrest has been made in connection with recent vandalisms in Morro Bay.
Morro Bay police say officers responded to the downtown area around 8 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of someone vandalizing a park bench in the area.
Officers say they caught up with Michael Farwell, 20, who they say had markers and several cans of spray paint.
Police say they discovered Farwell had been tagging “Sicko” on property, including trash cans and walls, throughout the city in recent days.
He was booked into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on 16 counts of vandalism and remained in custody Wednesday morning in lieu of $20,000 bail, jail logs show.
