On Tuesday an Arroyo Grande city council meeting was dominated by public comment stemming over armed business owners during last week's protest.
A number of community members called in to voice their concerns.
Some asked for an independent investigation regarding the armed men on top of The Pit and Grand Barbers businesses. They also alleged that The Pit owner, John Hackleman, gets preferential treatment from law enforcement.
Other callers voiced their support for law enforcement and the business owners that were exercising their second amendment rights. Meanwhile, several citizens said they would even consider leaving the area if Arroyo Grande didn't seriously address equality in the community.
