The City of Atascadero is celebrating its history this weekend at the 46th annual Colony Days.
Festivities kick off on Friday evening with Tent City After Dark from 6-10 p.m. at the Sunken Gardens. Tickets are $20 and the event includes three local bands and food, wine and beer.
On Saturday, a parade will make its way along El Camino Real and West Mall. After the parade, there will be a Tent City re-enactment and a variety of vendors, entertainment and food in and around the Sunken Gardens.
Other special activities Saturday include a pie eating contest at noon, Dogtoberfest wiener dog races at 1 p.m., and a talent show at 2:15.
