The Atascadero Unified School District is in need of brown bags for food distribution.
The district resumes serving breakfast and lunch again Wednesday at its multiple school sites and food services director Louise Mayhew says she’s having a hard time finding lunch bags that are in stock.
The district’s food service workers currently serve between 800 and 900 students daily.
Mayhew says anyone who would like to donate new, unwrapped bags to the district can drop them off at any of the school sites.
Schools in the district are closed until further notice.
