The Lucia Mar Unified School District is still honoring their graduation class during the shelter-at-home order.
They're doing it by lighting up both Nipomo's and Arroyo Grande's High School stadiums.
It's all part of the #BeTheLight movement that's sweeping the country. The campaign's purpose is to provide a sense of community and hope during an uncertain time.
Starting Friday, April 24th, every Tuesday and Friday through graduation at 8:20 p.m (or 20:20 military time), both schools will switch their stadium lights on as a way to remind their students -- and more -- that we are all in this together.
