UPDATE (3:50 p.m.) - CAL Fire SLO completed a prescribed burn at Camp SLO. A total of 310 acres were burned. Crews were expected to stay on scene for several hours to monitor.

CAL Fire SLO conducted a 300 acre prescribed burn at the Camp SLO shooting ranges Friday.
The burn was rescheduled for Friday after resources were committed to fighting the Soda Fire in the California Valley that burned 1,672 acres.

The burn is being done in conjunction with the California National Guard, San Luis Obispo City Fire, SLO County Air Pollution Control District and the SLO County Office of Emergency Services.
