UPDATE (12:40 p.m.) - CAL FIRE SLO says people in parts of Lake Nacimiento may see smoke Wednesday due to the burning of more than 300 piles of vegetation in the Oak Shores community. The burn was underway as of early Wednesday afternoon.

ORIGINAL STORY: You may see smoke Wednesday as Cal Fire San Luis Obispo plans to burn 330 slash piles.
The burn is set to take place near Lake Nacimiento on the east side of Oak Shores.
The scheduled burn is part of Cal FIre's Fuel Reduction Project.
