Churches in both San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County are switching to virtual service to help prevent coronavirus spread.
"What I think we are saying together as a community is there is no cost that is too high," says Highlands Church Lead Pastor, James Baird, "There is no price that is too much for us to stop and get this under control so that we can protect the people who would be affected the worst and most by this."
This comes after public health officials encouraged non-essential social gatherings to suspend meetings.
Local churches say they are unsure how long they will have to hold their services online, but say they will do so to ensure the safety of their members
