A pay increase for many in the Lompoc Police Department was approved by the City Council this week.
The one-year agreement between the City of Lompoc and the Lompoc Police Officers' Association allows for a retroactive 2 percent salary increase beginning June 20 for sworn and non-sworn personnel.
Increased medical contributions were also approved.
A staff report shows the $126,190 approved increase allows for $92,733 in salaries, $17,898 in retirement and $15,559 in benefits for the 2020-2021 fiscal year.
The agreement lasts through June 30, 2021.
