A climate change presentation is being held this week at the Santa Maria Public Library.
A guest speaker will discuss topics related to climate change, unpredictable disasters and what can be done to prepare for certain weather events.
Organizers say this a first-come, first-served basis, and seating is limited.
The presentation takes place on Friday, Jan. 24 in Shepard Hall from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
