Mourners gathered in front of the San Luis Obispo County Courthouse Saturday, to hold a vigil for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The memorial featured speakers from Women's March SLO and Planned Parenthood Central Coast.
Women's March SLO Organizer Rita Casaverde says she hopes the event will help community members who may feel sad and hopeless.
"We wanted to honor her and honor her legacy and bring the community together because we know that the community has been hit by the passing in different ways," Casaverde said.
The guest speakers encouraged all attendees to vote in the November election, in an effort to continue Justice Ginsburg's legacy.
