Friends of Atascadero Lake and community members took part in the annual Atascadero Lake Cleanup Saturday morning.
According to a Friends of Atascadero Lake spokesperson, at least a dozen community members assisted with the pruning around the lake.
City of Atascadero crews will go to the lake sometime this week to pick up the remaining piles of cuttings and complete more pruning with chainsaws, according to the spokesperson.
The spokesperson said they are thankful to those who showed up Saturday.
