The wind is still a big story Monday, as several advisories have been issued by the National Weather Service.
Wind gusts have been so strong in places like the Nipomo mesa that an air quality warning has been issued until 7 p.m.
People who live on the mesa with sensitive immune systems should stay inside as a lot of dust and sand could be blowing in the air.
Our wind advisory continues for the Santa Barbara County South Coast, particularly in the western South Coast and Santa Ynez mountains.
Wind gusts still have the potential near Gaviota to reach over 50 mph.
Our strong breeze will keep much of the cloud coverage away, leading for more sunshine in our mornings and afternoons through Tuesday.
Our weather starts to shift after Tuesday however, as a new high pressure system comes into our area bringing our temperatures up by several degrees.
Our inland areas could hit triple digits again by the weekend.
Hot temperatures could bring back elevated heat risks like fire weather and heat advisories.
Don't bring the jacket out just yet!
