Work on a new, all-way stop at the intersection of Los Berros Road and the southbound Highway 101 offramp near Nipomo began Monday.
San Luis Obispo County Public Works says the addition of new stops signs and pavement markings are added safety measures that will help improve the flow of traffic for both drivers and bicyclists along the busy roadway.
The project was approved by the Board of Supervisors in March.
