The 16th Annual Cruzin' for Life Car Show kicks off Friday in Santa Maria with the Friday Night Cruise down Broadway.
The section of Broadway from Cook St. to Stowell Rd. will be closed from 6-8 p.m. to allow for the cruise. Motorists can detour around the closure by using Stowell Rd., Miller St. and Cook St.
The cruise is free to watch.
On Saturday, dozens of vehicles will be shown at the all-make/all-model car show at the Santa Maria Fairpark, located at 937 S. Thornburg St.
The show will be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and admission is free. It includes live music by Steppin' Out and various vendors and exhibitors.
Funds raised by Cruzin' for Life benefit cancer care services at Marian Regional Medical Center and Make-a-Wish Tri-Counties.
