Cuesta College has opened a new data center it says will help speed up its internet and make the college cloud-ready.

The new building opened Wednesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

According to the superintendent, the data center will help strengthen the college's ability to serve students and provide 21st Century learning.

It also includes 13 offices that house the network and database administrators, programmers and the executive director of information technology.
