Drivers can expect Highway 1 to be fully closed between Highway 101 in Las Cruces and Highway 246 near Lompoc.
The closure is scheduled for Monday, August 24th from 6 p.m through Tuesday 6 a.m.
Drivers in both directions can detour by using Highway 246.
Southbound Highway 1 will remain open for local traffic only from Highway 1 in Lompoc to Santa Rosa Rd.
Northbound Highway 1 will remain open for local traffic only from Highway 101 to Jalama Rd.
The closure is necessary to allow concrete for the new bridge deck to properly cure.
