Eight new cases of COVID-19 reported in Santa Barbara County Saturday

Santa Barbara County health officials reported eight new cases of the virus on Saturday.

Most of these new cases are from Lompoc and Orcutt.

54 cases in the county are still infectious.

A dozen people are hospitalized, three are in the ICU.

There are no additional COVID-related deaths.

San Luis Obispo County is expected to update its coronavirus statistics on Monday.
