The Santa Barbara County Public Health Department announced the opening of emergency shelter for people without homes in Santa Maria.

The shelter is located in the Santa Maria High School Gym, at 901 S Broadway, Santa Maria, CA 93454.
The shelter is open 24 hours a day, with entrance to the shelter from 6 am - 9 pm daily.
Entrance is Gate 12 off of Stowell Road.
