Community members and loved ones are demanding justice for a Nipomo woman who was found dead in her home in May.

Family and friends said they have no answers surrounding the suspicious death of 68-year-old Debra Glenn and marched through Nipomo Sunday calling for the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office to provide updates on its investigation.

San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office launched a suspicious death investigation after Glenn was found dead in her home in the 100 block of Tefft Street on May 27th.

After the march, the group held a candlelight vigil outside of Glenn's home.

Jessica Hope, Glenn's granddaughter, says many community members remember Debra as the "crosswalk lady."

"She's a loving person. She loved hanging out with me and my best friends," Hope said. "She clearly made an impact because all these people are out here with me right now, I'm not by myself, so she was just loved by this community."

KBSY reached out to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office for more information.

Deputies said they're unable to give any updates on the case at this time since it is an active investigation.
