Field of Light at Sensorio is hosting "Sensorio Gives Back Sunday" this upcoming weekend.

Bruce Munro: Field of Light at Sensorio is a 15-acre outdoor art installation. The exhibit utilizes over 58,800 stemmed spheres lit by fiber-optics, illuminating Paso Robles' hills with color.

Visitors who decide to take a stroll through the light exhibit this Sunday, Sept. 27 will be helping two Central Coast charities through their ticket purchase.

A total of $20 of each ticket sold on that date will go towards supporting Family Care Network and SLO Food Bank. Of the $20, $10 will go to each charity.

"During this difficult time, supporting children and families is of the upmost to all of us and we wanted to support families both emotionally and physically," said Executive Director of Sensorio Tracy Strann.

Family Care Network is a Not-for-Profit, Community-Based Organization that provides intensive, therapeutic services to children, youth, and families impacted by trauma in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties. SLO Food Bank's mission is to alleviate hunger in San Luis Obispo County and build a healthier community.

Tickets for the event must be purchased online or you can find more information by calling (805) 226-4287.

The exhibit is open with COVID-19 precautions in place. There are over 30 handsanitizing stations, masks are mandatory and bathrooms are being cleaned every 30 minutes.
