Brush fires were a big concern heading into the July 4th holiday as many people set off their own fireworks in areas near dry vegetation.
As of 10:30 p.m., fire crews responded to at least five spot fires across the Central Coast.
Fire officials say the cause of some of these fires was fireworks.
Some spot fires were put out by neighbors before the flames could get out of control.
