Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to an unusual call in Orcutt on Thursday.
"Sugar" was getting a bath in the sink when the dog became stuck in the strainer part of the drain.
Sugar's owner called the fire department for help.
Firefighters were able to free the pup after about 10 minutes and put the drain back together.
