Jamba posted on Facebookthat their founder, Kirk Perron, passed away on June 20 in Palm Springs, California.
Perron first founded what was then Juice Club in 1990 in San Luis Obispo when he was 26 years old.
Today, the business has over 800 units globally, according to the post.
In Kirk's memory, the company said they will be making a donation to The Jamba Juice / Kirk Perron Scholarship Fund at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.
