Four thousand pounds of Rainbow Trout were delivered and released into Cachuma Lake on Veterans Day, Nov. 11.
This was an effort by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, as well as the Santa Barbara County Parks Division.
The Parks Division said the annual pass for veterans is $10 dollars, regardless of residence. With this pass, veterans have access to both the Cachuma Recreation Area and Jalama Beach County parks.
