Gas prices are up about ten cents nationally for an average of $2.73 following the September 14th attack on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities.

Interruptions in U.S. refining may also be contributing to the price jump.

Right now, the average price for a gallon of gas in California is about $4.02.

Santa Barbara County is averaging about $4.07 per gallon.

San Luis Obispo County is seeing some of the highest prices in the nation at about $4.19 per gallon.
