Gino's Pizza in San Luis Obispo is still open -- and they're finding fun and safe ways to keep their customers happy.
Originally, the restaurant that is now Gino's Pizza was designed for carhop service, where food is brought and placed on a trey that fixed to a car's window seal; and now they're getting back to their roots.
Gino's Pizza is now offering carhop service as a fun way to allow customers to enjoy a nice meal while practicing social distancing.
"People love it," says Gino's Pizza owner Consuelo Diaz. "They think it's a fun. It's something different; and people can eat outside, leave the house -- but still respecting the privacy and the six feet apart -- and the whole thing is so fun."
Gino's Pizza also free delivery with their in-house delivery team, and they're open from noon to 8 p.m. daily.
