The Santa Barbara Foundation has launched the Santa Barbara Better Together Fund Small Business Grant Program partnership with the city of Santa Maria.

According to a press release, this partnership will support grants of up to $7,500 for small businesses struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“These efforts to support local businesses today will help many to survive these tough times, and help ensure a strong community in the future,” Santa Maria Mayor Alice Patino said in the press release. “We need to help our neighbors when times are tough, and we all look forward to returning to normal.”

The awards are available to businesses until funds are depleted, the release said.

The application for those to apply is available from Sept. 1 to Sept. 9.
