Guadalupe City Council appoints new Administrator

Guadalupe's City Council appointed Todd Bodem as permanent City Administrator at Tuesday nights meeting.

Bodem will replace Interim City Administrator Robert Perrault who has filled the position on a temporary basis since early March.

Previously, Bodem was the City Administrator for the City of Sand City in Monterey County for a period of four years.

According to a press release, as administrator, Bodem will take his direction from the Council and will be responsible for the day to day operations of the City. Duties will include working with the Public Safety Chief, supervision of non- safety employees, preparation of the budget and Council agendas. He will represent the City in its interactions with public agencies, private organizations, residents, business and property owners.

Bodem's first day on the job is November 1.
