A forum in San Luis Obispo Tuesday evening will focus on how parents can find a media balance and better protect their children's privacy.
It's being hosted by Assemblyman Jordan Cunningham and national non-profit Common Sense Media.
Legislative efforts regarding an increase in online privacy for both adults and children and provide parents with best practices will be discussed. Parents will also be given ideas, tips and tools to keep their children safe online and promote a healthy media and device balance.
The forum begins at 6 p.m. at the Laguna Middle School Auditorium, 11050 Los Osos Valley Road.
