With just hours left before Christmas Day, shoppers hit the streets of San Luis Obispo to do some last-minute gift shopping.
Damon Dayoub says he's made shopping is a family tradition. Dayoub says he likes to bring his family along just to make sure he's choosing the right gifts.
“I know I’m not gonna go wrong if they pick their own gifts, so yeah, they picked them out and then they have to act surprised when they open them up later on” added Dayoub.
Residents like Janice Tracy say they actually like the process because it lets them enjoy some of the holiday spirit.
“I always wanna do something last minute, to stay in the season. One year I did everything early and it wasn’t any fun" said Tracy.
