Locals are encouraged to learn "hands-only" CPR at a workshop this week in Lompoc.
The training course will be held Tuesday at South Side Coffee Company, located at 105 S. H St in Lompoc.
Attendees will learn CPR and receive free coffee at the event.
The training goes from 4-5:30 p.m.
Local heart disease survivor Michele Mallet will speak about her experience of overcoming a tear in her artery that cause a heart attack.
