New lights are now illuminating Shell Beach Road in Shell Beach.
Installation of the new streetlights began in early June as part of a $13 million project.
Construction on an 18-block section of Shell Beach Road from Cliff Avenue to Terrace Avenue started in September 2018.
The reconstructed roadway will include an eight-foot wide multi-use path for bicycles and pedestrians along with other improvements including utility upgrades.
The City says paving is expected to begin July 15 and be finished around July 25.
Decorative fencing has been up for a few months.
