Instead of sending flowers for Valentine's Day, have you thought about puppies?

A local non-profit is offering to bring puppies to your valentine's home or work on February 14.

This is the second annual Valentine's Day fundraiser organized by 'Doggie Does Good, Inc.' in Arroyo Grande.

For $50 you can buy a puppy gram with a personal note and a small gift for your valentine.

All the proceeds will go towards training these future service dogs.

"They can surprise their significant other or like a family member at work or at school or at their house even, and we will travel with some puppies… over there and surprise them with puppy kisses," said Service Dog Trainer, Courtney Rios.

Doggie Does Good, Inc. says these Valentine's Day grams also help the puppies get exposure in new environments and help build their confidence to be a service dog.
