The City of Lompoc is planning the next steps to start its new Lompoc Outdoor Community Market.
Local businesses and residents are invited to participate in planning workshops with the City in February and March.
The workshops will cover details for the new market including seller's permits, business tax license requirements and the registration process.
Lompoc City Council voted to move forward with the market at its meeting in December.
An opening date for the Lompoc Outdoor Community Market is not set. However, the market will be held Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the downtown parking lot on the corner of Ocean Ave. and I St. It will be open to vendors, crafters and farmers, including other businesses.
