The Los Osos community gathered to honor veterans for their service during a ceremony Monday.
Anita Stanchev, a general manager with Dignity Memorial, says the event is “a legacy and remembrance of what's important to us and how we were able to obtain the wonderful community that we have is through the service of many veterans.”
Organizations in the community host these events every year during Veterans Day and Memorial Day.
A flyover took place at the Los Osos event as well as at an event in Atascadero. Veterans from all branches and all levels of service were in attendance with their families.
