A Los Osos neighborhood is ringing bells nightly for first responders.
It started when Eileen Hagan emailed her neighbors as the end of March. She asked them to join her in ringing a bell at 8 p.m. at the mobilehome park where she lives.
Hagan said she started this to honor healthcare workers, first responders, and those who have had COVID-19.
Months later, she and residents social distance together in a cul-de-sac and ring their bells for up to 30 minutes then sing "Goodnight Eileen" as they leave.
Hagan said she vows to not stop until the pandemic is over.
