Mary Buren Elementary in Guadalupe hosted a drive-thru harvest festival on Oct. 28.
According to the press release, students received bubbles, erasers, bracelets and other goodies while faculty dressed up in costumes during their parade.
"The idea of this is to really have an event that reminds them that you are apart of something larger were glad to have you here we want you here were doing everything we can to connect with you and so were online and in-person and finding ways to connect and make this a meaningful year for you guys," Mary Buren Elementary Dean of Students Kevin Baldizon said.
School officials said if students were unable to attend the event today, they can walk up to the school and grab a bag tomorrow.
