Morro Bay community members ate pancakes with Santa Claus Saturday morning at the city's community center.
The event offered a pancake breakfast, a visit to Santa's elf workshop for arts and crafts, a gingerbread house station and of course, pictures with Santa Claus.
Guests could also play games and get their faces painted after breakfast.
"Being Santa is such a blessing I don't know if I get more out of the season or the children because the light in their faces," said Morro Bay Santa. "I saw a little girl earlier, she saw me then boom big hug.
Morro Bay Recreation Services organized the holiday event.
