PG&E was responding to multiple power outages across the Central Coast on Monday afternoon.
A PG&E representative said two outages in the San Luis Obispo area left about 2,200 customers without power. Both outages began at about 2:30 p.m.
By 4:15 p.m., power had been restored to all but 580 customers and PG&E expected full restoration by 6:30 p.m.
One of those outages was reportedly the result of an equipment issue. PG&E crews investigated for evidence of downed power lines but did not find any.
PG&E said it was also investigating five other outages impacting about 450 customers.
Several small outages were reported from Morro Bay to Lompoc.
